Matthew joined Kidd Aitken after several years as an Assistant Editor on the Chambers Global guide, where he analysed hundreds of submissions from leading law firms around the world. He holds a first-class BA in French Studies, an MA in Translation, an MSc in Environment & Sustainability and received the Birkbeck Sustainable Futures Prize whilst studying in 2022. He draws on his linguistic expertise and editing experience to assist leading regional and international law firms with their directory submissions.
Motivated by a desire to address the climate and biodiversity crises, Matthew co-founded Kidd Aitken ESG alongside Daniel and Jacob. It became clear working with law firms around the world that there was an increased focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). This led us to create a specialist ESG service offering analysis, action plans and communication support focused on the legal sector.
