Shane is Managing Partner (UK) of Taylor Wessing, an international law firm with 32 offices in 19 jurisdictions across Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia. He is also Co-Chair of its International Management Board and Chair the UK Board.

Shane has been a partner in Taylor Wessing's Disputes & Investigations practice since 2006. Prior to his appointment as Managing Partner in 2018, he was co-head of its international litigation practice. He specialises in large-scale litigation, arbitration and investigations, with a particular focus on disputes in the financial services sector. This has involved the management of cross-border multi-jurisdictional litigation/arbitration and regulatory investigation. His regulatory/enforcement experience includes US, European and Asian financial services and market regulators, including involvement in the transatlantic FX investigations.
He has also advised on a substantial number of internal investigations, involving, for example, insider (and own account) trading, corruption, related party transactions, whistleblowing, data security breaches and systems/controls failures.
