John is the Global Head of Sectors & Clients at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he has had an integral role in defining and implementing the firm’s client strategy.  He has a background in strategy consulting, with a particular focus on the US and UK legal industry, as well as other global markets.  Prior to Freshfields he has worked as a lawyer and strategist for professional services firms including Bain & Co, Linklaters and Milbank on both sides of the Atlantic.
