| Matilde de Mello Cabral joined Abreu Advogados, one of the top tier legal firms in Portugal, in June 2019 as the COO. She is responsible for managing operations and coordinating the firm’s management departments and support services (financial, information technology, marketing and communication, business development, HR, quality management and knowledge management), and is particularly involved in project management and continual improvement of the processes and working methods of the areas and teams she manages.
She is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and seats on the monthly Board meetings as advisor. Matilde has over 16 years’ experience in law firm management, and her career path has included advice to the Board of Directors and the legal operations management at a prestigious law firm in Portugal, and management of the Marketing, Communication and Business Development department of the same firm, in addition to work at a major TV channel, a PR agency and strategic consulting in communication.
