Martin K. Weber is the independent chair of Robeco Switzerland’s BoD. In addition to this role, Mr. Weber is an equity partner at Roesle Frick & Partners, a corporate law firm based in Zurich, where he focuses on financial services regulation and related investigations, private equity and venture capital, M&A, and corporate finance. He is an authorized issuers’ representative at the SIX Swiss Exchange and a delegate of TerraLex, a leading global network of law firms and a partner of Roesle Frick & Partners, a leading Swiss law firm. He also serves as an independent director or external general counsel to several companies across multiple sectors, including financial services/asset management/ fintech, digital economy, biotech, and greentech. Furthermore, he co-founded REWIDI, a regulatory technology business that digitizes legal and compliance processes. Mr. Weber graduated as a bilingual dual Master of Laws (French/German) from the Universities of Neuchâtel and Lucerne, where he also achieved a doctorate in financial market regulation, and he received an LL.M. degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Furthermore, he has completed a leadership program for managing partners at Harvard Law School (Executive Education).
