As Chief Marketing Officer for Deloitte in North West Europe, Annabel Rake oversees go to market strategy across the firm. Whether it’s corporate brand positioning or building CXO communities, developing industry eminence or taking propositions to market, Annabel provides direction to a wide range of activity – from sponsorships to targeted client relationship development.
Annabel is a passionate supporter of learning and development activity, so outside of her marketing day job, she is the Chair of the Talent Board for Deloitte’s ‘Internal Client Services’ function, as part of her role as Talent Partner. She also sits on the firm’s Innovation Board.
Annabel is a ‘city girl’ who’s made the move to the country – she lives in a small hamlet in Yorkshire with her husband, son, two cats and various elements of local wildlife that make their way in!
Prior to Deloitte Annabel gained both professional services and FMCG sector experience working for brands such as The Chartered Institute of Marketing, PA Consulting Group and Nestlé. She is a Board Member for the Women’s Prize for Fiction and sits on the European CMO Council, the B2B Marketing Customer Board and the Business Advisory Group for Aston University.
