
James Cardew is the Global Head of Marketing at Schroders, responsible for the marketing and public relations professionals globally.
He manages the group marketing budget and service models that are used to target and impact the Marketing and Sales strategies for institutional and retail clients in the UK, Europe, Asia and Americas. In addition, James has overall responsibility for Schroders’ market-leading PR team, the positioning of the global business, developing key messages and building and maintaining a strong brand.
James joined Schroders in April 2003 as Head of UK Retail Marketing; he went on to become Head of Marketing for the UK and Europe (encompassing responsibility for both the retail and the institutional businesses). He was given overall responsibility for Schroders global marketing activity in 2008.
James’ asset management career spans over 15 years. He was previously Head of UK Broker Marketing and the Head of International Marketing at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
