Justin North

Justin is the founder of Janders Dean International, a mentor of LawWithoutWalls and LegalForecast, and the founder of the APAC Legal Innovation Index and #JDHorizons Series. Justin specialises in working with Board and Management Team level resources and leading Information Technology and Knowledge Management planning projects aimed at improving firm efficiencies, profitability, fee earner working practices and user experiences. His role requires in-depth expertise and understanding not only of law firm management processes and emerging technologies but also of the unique law firm processes and the way in which lawyers and law firm user communities/clients operate.

Justin has regularly worked with resources of all levels of law firm management and with practising lawyers in multiple international jurisdictions to improve departmental priorities, address people management and skill issues, and mentor staff in numerous support departments on their roles within project execution. Justin regularly works directly with senior international partnership and management level personnel and liaises between technical project staff and senior sponsorship teams to ensure communication and change management aspects of engagement do not threaten technical milestones, project success, usability goals, or defined and agreed customer service level agreements.

Prior to forming Janders Dean, Justin was a lead consultant with Hildebrandt Baker Robbins & Company for five years, operating out of London and New York and has held senior roles with Deloitte and some of the world’s largest law firms. Justin has over a decade’s experience working directly with firms in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and the broader Asia-Pacific region, and is considered a thought leader in law firm transformation and innovation.
